Question:

Are special k cereal vegetarian-vegan?

the ones with strawberries..they dont have any sort of animal thing in them do they?

Answers:
http://www.specialk.com/ The original Special K, the Chocolatey Delight and the Fruit and Yogurt Cereal have milk in it. It is on there Allergen Information and that is in the US.

no, i love them, they're perfectly veggie but not veagen, they contain milk and eggs, sorry

From the Special K website: The ingredients for the Red Berries version appear to all be vegan, and the kosher status is parve so you shouldn't have to worry about the sugar being bonechar filtered. Looks vegan!

According to Wikipedia, the ingredients for the original recipe vary by country though, so they might for the Red Berries as well - be careful, or update the question if you're not from the U.S.

Edit: Rosie, where did you read they have eggs/dairy? Also, what country are you from? Maybe we've been shipped different recipes. (I hate it when companies do that!)

Hey I eat that stuff all the time and I've been vegan for 2 and a half years. As far as I'm aware, in the U.S. at least, Special K is 100% vegan and I'm pretty meticulous. Enjoy!
