Wheat Gluten in Bread, Soup etc. is the same poison found in Pet Food.?!

Question:

Wheat Gluten in Bread, Soup etc. is the same poison found in Pet Food.?

The FDA is letting little bits of info out and on a back page basis. First, we find that the dogs and cats are getting sick from Wheat Gluten shipped from China. Then, we start to hear how it has found it's way to animal feed (Cows, Pigs, Chickens even farm raised fish). The FDA printed a note about how we don't eat enough of any of the meat to cause us to be sick. Then, we find that the same Wheat Gluten is in bread, canned soup, and the list goes on and on. So, I for one, have a sandwich (made with bread laced with poison) and on that bread I put meat (fed with poison and any idiot can figure that if it's in the feed and the cow ate it and I am having a hamburger, I am eating a lot of poison that I didn't count on. Everybody is sooooo worried about what kind of cooking oil the chains are using, I am worried about the cover up from the FDA and I think the FDA is worried about our trade agreement with China when the truth comes out.

Answers:
The batch of gluten was contiminated with a poison.

Gluten itself is a part of wheat, barley, oats and a few other grains.

They don't have anything to do with one another. You have better things to do with your time than to worry to this extent or to start conspiracy theories. Get professional help.

you worry too much, find something else to do.

Yes, there is quite a cover up. Yes, probably secondary to trade delicacies and the enormous power of companies like Purina who want this story to go away. The wheat gluten and rice protein itself is not poisonous. But, the added melamine (a pesticide metabolite) and cyanuricacid combination are the dangerous combination. Apparently, the Chinese have been allowed to add melamine to their cattle feed as a nitrogen source. The U.S. does not allow that practice. The melamine that was used in China in cattle feed and other products was also a terribly dangerous dregs of what was left after coal manufacturing usage of the chemical. The contamination is probably quite widespread throughout our food supplies and will likely remain a danger without more public awareness and outcry. Thousands of pets and farm stock have already died from renal failure. With the current anti-public safety administration and President, we probably won't ever know how many humans die of this contamination, especially the very young and very old.

The government are idiots. Case in point: they actually fed teh discarded pet food to animals for human consumption. I don't think it will hurt you though, as no humans have gotten sick from this particular incident. But it's just a matter of time if they don't do something.

the FDA is not much interested in protecting us, is it, except possibly from poisons that will kill in in a few hours? Even the European Union puts health above profit.

There is allot to be concerned about in our foods.

The Gluten in Bread is not a additive like in Pet Foods. Wheat naturally has Gluten.
