Of course,this doesn't bother me because I could eat salad every damn day.
Why not try a variety of new restaurants? See if there's anything in particular you like? Then you can have fun trying to match your tastebuds to your recipes. =)
I like going to a thai restaurant, they make green curry and stuff. As for recipes, I would make ethnic stuff.
Check out this cookbook. All of the recipes are really easy and quick and I've loved everything that's come out of it so far. I also made a cupcake recipe from it today and they are probably the best vegan cupcakes I've ever had. That recipe is called 6 minute chocolate cake and the cookbook is Moosewood Restaurant Cooks at Home.

Many chinese and japanese restaurants don't mind serving vegan or vegetarian food! I like the vegetarian chinese green soup! And the steamed rice! If you're vegan you gotta tell them no butter please! Sometimes certain Burger Kings that I go to have Veggie Burgers! One Macdonalds tried Veggie burgers in Thunder Bay Ont. but it didn't go over well there! Well there's too many burger joints there!
