Can vegetarians eat margarine?!

Question:

Can vegetarians eat margarine?

Answers:
Depends. If you are a lacto-ovo veggie, you can. If you are also a lacto-veggie you can. However, if you are a ovo-veggie, or a vegan (one who abstains from all animal products), you cannot.

P.S. ~ Lacto is means dairy (actually, lactose means dairy), and ovo means eggs. So a lacto-ovo veggie would be a veggie who consumes both milk and eggs.

sure... margarine is made from vegetable oil

animals!!

Yes. It is made from vegetable oils (non dairy)

do you mean vegans? vegans don't eat dairy products, vegetarians do. there are plenty of margarines out there that are made with vegetable oils and other products that don't contain dairy. just make sure you read the ingredients before you buy it.
