He made us out of meat as well, are you suggesting we become cannibal? He made us if you believe it, to have a varied and balanced diet....We are actually not suited to dairy products, as evolution hasn't caught up with domestication of goats, cows etc.
Why do you care?
To my knowledge, there is no biblical mandate from "God" related to vegetarianism; nor is there any mandate that "man shall eat only meat".
If "God" did only want "us" to "eat meat", why do we even have vegetables? Where did broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, cabbage, spinach, or lettuce come from anyway? And don't forget onions, mushrooms, bell peppers and jalepenos. Where does cheese fit in?
"Thanks be to God," we are given a choice as to what we eat, and "Thanks be to God" we have vegetables and/or meat to eat!
most of the meat humans eat is from man made animals(non natural domesticated breeds) anyway!

i dont remember reading in the bible that god wanted us to only eat veggies. i live off the land just as my people before me, and before them..ect..... we have a choice as to what we eat, so why does it matter so much to people what others eat? god gave us animals for many reasons and meat was one of them.
I believe God did make animals for our consumption. I don't believe He is happy with how 95% of them are treated and slaughtered. That, along with health concerns, is why I choose not to eat meat. People can feign ignorance over the treatment of their food most of the time, but hey ... it could be called into question at the Pearly Gates!
Well, good question. But Humans are technically meat to. And I am not sure why you care to know. There is not wrong way to eat. Its all by choice. If you really want to know. I think God made us to eat plants. If you look at the our teeth as humans and compare them to other plant eating animals you should notice a similarity. If you compare human teeth to a meat eating animals.(ex. a dog or wolf or fox) you will notice the long teeth that are used for rip and tearing through flesh and skin. Our human teeth are meant to chew plants.
But hey, if you eat meat and dont plan on becoming a vegetarian or for whatever reason for asking this question, just let people live how they want...

we were an after thought, the animals and plants came before us. Eat meat if you chose, because you can, it is a food source, an animals purpose is to live and breed, not to be eaten. Only fruit grows for the sole purpose of being eaten. Animals are made out of muscle so that they can move well. They have fat for insulation and food stores. They do not have muscle and fat to be eaten. Kidneys are for filtering blood. I am sure you know this. So their purpose isn't to be eaten. I don't think god said you should or shouldn't eat animals anyway. If I remember rightly the garden of eden was full of plants and fruit to eat. All that they could have wanted. tell me if i'm wrong but the only animal mentioned was a snake. They didn't eat that eaither.

Look at the teeth (especially the incisors) of a cat and look at the teeth of a human (notice how the molars are suited for grinding -- a much more sophisticated set of motions).
Cats were created as meat-eaters... humans were not. People who eat meat are a recent phenomenom.
People choking on meat is a recent phenomenom. The Heimlich maneuver is a much more recent phenomenom. Dr. Heimlich, himself, is a vegetarian, but popularized this method for saving people who choked while eating.

seriously u prob expected loads of meat eaters 2 agree with u im 13 and recently became a vegetarian because i felt guilty eating meat.
do u want to know something that will hopefully scar u 4 life? i might get some things wrong but basically to produce milk cows have to be pregnant and once the calf? is born it normally feeds on shop milk and fattened boy calfs r killed and girl calfs r used 2 produce milk which they have 2 keep getting pregnant to do imagine:
10 milk cows give birth 2 one boy calf each and 10 boy calfs r slaughtered get me?
