Want to start eating naturally, need advice?!

Question:

Want to start eating naturally, need advice?

I am just tired of being sick all the time and I know a big cause is the foods. Is there a way to eat naturally without it costing so much. Health food stores are so expensive. Also would it be bad for me to stop eating meats except for sea food, and whats the best form of vegtable protein besides soy?

Answers:
Ok - you don't have to go COMPLETELY organic vegan right away...

It is something that you gradually work on...

Start by eliminating fast food...

Then start looking at labels... look for REAL ingredients... not sacharin or dyes and things you can't pronounce...

Then you can think about going to whole foods every so often and trying a new product....

Good Luck

I just choose my battles... If I must eat some kind of meat - I try to choose fish...
When I buy pasta at the store, I make sure that it is the organic kind...
I also do not care if the label says certified by FDA as organic because they lie... you need another qualification label on the product... particularly from the state where the product is produced.

Also - if you are buying food for people who eat meat, then try to look for Free-range stuff...
Meaning the animals had a healthy, happy life before slaughter.... this usually also means that they were fed real food...

eat veggies and meat just the right amount
don't over eat
exercise
eat brown rice
and when order food
u can get grilled chicken instead of fried :]

Eating healthy and naturally doesn't need to be expensive or require the use of health food stores. You just need to start eating whole foods. Whole foods meaning foods in their original form, unprocessed. Cut out prepackaged meals, they're full of crap. Cut out the fast food, too. Fresh fruit, vegetables, and grains aren't expensive. If you want to stop eating meat, go for it. Good sources of vegetable protein besides soy include beans, nuts, legumes, seeds, and seitan or wheat gluten. Try checking out the websites below. Also, if you feel like your diet is causing you to be sick, you should see a doctor to rule out any food allergies or intolerances. For example, I was raised to believe I had hay fever and was allergic to pollen, but found out when I was a teenager, that my sinus problems were due to dairy, not the great outdoors!
