Is it true,Non vegetrians are like wild animals.?
our food is playing very important role as far as our thoughts are concerned. In entire world it is observed that community consuming non vegetrian food appears very agressive, violent and behave like wild animal. Is it true to stop eating non.veg.for peace in the universe.
Answers:
I've known many vegetarians. Some hard-core, eating nothing but salad, some only in name as they also ate some meats. None of them were very big people, they were all VERY skinny and lacked muscle (at least the ones I've known). The pure vegans also did not seem to have the stamina of a person who ate a more balanced diet. I have come to the conclusion that ANYTHING taken to extremes is bad and that everything should be in moderation. I don't see how it could be healthy to never eat meat. I don't see how it could be healthy to only eat meat. The sensible point is somewhere in the middle I think. I'm not sure how eating meat makes people aggressive though.
yes
no
Erm... we have incisors and K9 teeth id say its a pretty safe bet that the human race has evolved with the intention of eating meat...
non-vegetarians ARE like wild animals at Outback Steak house on coupon night.
who knows
I don't know where you get your information from but it is so wrong. Humans are omnivores, eating both animals and vegetation. Becoming a vegetarian is an individual choice made as a person gets older and finds, mistakenly, that there is something wrong with eating animals. If you follow their logic you will soon decide that eating plants is also wrong so you end up starving to death, which in their eyes is better for the planet.
seems like most people here have no knowledge about meat eaters, vegan/vegetarian, so if you like you can visit me "jesus the vegan" and you will get all the answers about meat eaters, how meat eating do cause more agressive behaviors, look at texas one of the biggest cattle industry and those rodeo cowboys aggression on those gentle herbivore creatures.
To those who think we are meat eaters and you have your "incisors" or "canines" lol, answer me this. can you catch live animal with your bare hands using gods given "tools" such as your "claws" and chew into raw flesh with your "canines". Your stomach cavatiy as well shows that you are not meant to eat meat, this is why there are so much illness relating to meat eating. Our intestinal length are much longer then meat eaters so those carcass sits in our stomach to decay. Meat eaters such as the wolf, cats dogs etc have a very short intenstinal tract so out it comes. kinda gross to think that carcass decay sits in there for a whole 24 hrs some people longer due to constipation which accurs cause we are not meant to eat meat.
Vegans may be thin, but thin does not mean weak . Meat eaters are often more sicker, out of shape, lethargic, and actually do not get anything in the body eating dead flesh. to eat veggies which is "living" then you are getting so much more out of it, some people even go to the extent to eating "raw". I know i got off the subject a little but those who say they are "meat" eaters are wrong. and yes, meat eaters are more aggressive. Jesus was a vegan, look at the gentle man he was. so anyone up to going to my site come on over and learn. ciao xoxo.tia
@Lionheart, why do you say eating veg is wrong. cattle industry is one of the major causes of hunger thru out the world. think about how much vegetaition, rice, corns, feeds needed to fatten these cows just to be slaughtere for selfish western society. Most of you here really need to read up about this subject because there is too many ignorance here. tia aka Jesus the vegan
lol good answear lionheart i agree
I don't think so... because, we are humans and humans need to eat to live.. there's nothing wrong with eating foods other than vegetables.. other food like meat can supply us more energy we need to do things in our lives.. we know vegetables are more healthy but sometimes we get bored from eating them and we want something else than vegetables to eat.. that's all.. and NO, THAT DOESN'T MAKE US WILD ANIMALS IF WE ARE NOT VEGETARIANS......................
And you assume vegetarians and vegans are more civilized? Hitler was a vegetarian. Meat does not make people violent. If you live in a city, use a car, eat vegetables and fruits that you didn't forage for yourself, you are complicit in the death of animals. It often makes people feel like they're innocent when they stop eating meat, but the big farms that grow the vegetables displace animals (meaning they eventually die). I'm not saying one way is better than the other. I'm just saying that our modern lifestyles (and our survival), whether we eat meat or not, depend on the deaths of other animals.
yes only wild animals would take a life to eat we are just the same
I take offense the the idea that behaving or not behaving in some way make one like "wild animals" the term itself is speciesist. Plenty of animals act more civilized than humans, and vice versa. Love, passion, protectiveness, and empathy, are as much part of the life of many wild animals as the descriptions you give of being aggressive and violent.
Yes many humans act like uncivilized idiots. To argue with that would be difficult indeed. Yet many do not. Whether or not that has anything to do with their diet or not is of little consequence to whether we should call them "wild animals." As I'm sure you know, many more wild animals do not eat meat than do.
Nope
doesn't have anything to do with vegetarians or non-vegetarians. People can act like animals at any time. Look at Bush.
If non-vegetarians are like wild animals what does that make vegetarians... domesticated animals. In that case, which is superior/able to survive in the wild? I'd rather be considered a wild animal than a domesticated animal any day (just ask PETA).
I would like to set the rcord straight for solei m.
"Cattle ranches are one of the chief causes of world hunger." No evidence for this. In fact, the real cause of world hunger is foreign subsidies. In places like the Philippines and Africa, a person can find bags of rice and corn and wheat piled high by the hundreds of tons. However, because of French, German, and US subsidies, the people of these countries are not allowed to eat their own grain, but have to buy it from other nations.
Also, meat is actually good for you. It is an excellent source of protein, (there is more protein in meat than in any other food), and it is rich in essential minerals and vitamins.
And, as an answer to the question, go watch a vegetarian protest. I'm sure your ideas of them as being more "civilized" than meat eaters will quickly be dispelled.
The notion that Meat-eaters are wilder and more violent than vegeterians is as ridiculous as it is unresearched and uninformed.
Half the world's population does not receive an adequate amount of food to eat. Ten to twenty million die annually of hunger and its effects. The Institute for Food and Development Policy reports that, "Forty thousand children starve to death on this planet every day," or one child every two seconds.
The livestock population of the United States today consumes enough grain and soybeans to feed over five times the entire human population of the country. We feed these animals over 80% of the corn we grow, and over 95% of the oats. Less than half the harvested agricultural acreage in the United States is used to grow food for people. Most of it is used to grow livestock feed.
Ronald J. Sider, in his 1977 book, Rich Christians in an Age of Hunger, points out that 220 million Americans are eating enough food (largely because of the high consumption of grain-fed livestock) to feed over one billion people in the poorer countries.
The world's cattle alone, not to mention pigs and chickens, consume a quantity of food equal to the caloric needs of 8.7 billion people--nearly double the entire human population of the planet. It takes 16 pounds of grain to produce one pound of beef. According to Department of Agriculture statistics, one acre of land can grow 20,000 pounds of potatoes. That same acre of land, if used to grow cattlefeed, can produce less than 165 pounds of beef. *Tia
Human Animals are herbivores. Our anatomy is most closely related to herbivore creatures. Not only, imagine a dead flesh going into your body, the flesh of those butchered animals who suffered and so you can have a little flesh . You are eating misery and terror. Another Hitler was a nut case and what does that prove, hes a mental and he was a vegetarian but remember more killers are meat eaters, name another killer who is a vegetarian not many is there?? Now you can read this..enjoy
Carnivorous animals, including the lion, dog, wolf, cat, etc., have many unique characteristics which set them apart from all other members of the animal kingdom. They all possess a very simple and short digestive system -- only three times the length of their bodies. This is because flesh decays very rapidly, and the products of this decay quickly poison the bloodstream if they remain too long in the body. So a short digestive tract was evolved for rapid expulsion of putrefactive bacteria from decomposing flesh, as well as stomachs with ten times as much hydrochloric acid as non-carnivorous animals (to digest fibrous tissue and bones).
Meat-eating animals that hunt in the cool of the night and sleep during the day when it is hot do not need sweat glands to cool their bodies; they therefore do not perspire through their skin, but rather they sweat through their tongues. On the other hand, vegetarian animals, such as the cow, horse, zebra, deer, etc., spend much of their time in the sun gathering their food, and they freely perspire through their skin to cool their bodies. But the most significant difference between the natural meat-eaters and other animals is their teeth.
Along with sharp claws, all meat-eaters, since they have to kill mainly with their teeth, possess powerful jaws and pointed, elongated, "canine" teeth to pierce tough hide and to spear and tear flesh. They do NOT have molars (flat, back teeth) which vegetarian animals need for grinding their food. Unlike grains, flesh does not need to be chewed in the mouth to predigest it; it is digested mostly in the stomach and the intestines. A cat, for example, can hardly chew at all.
ps. meat eaters whose intestines are very short gets rid of waste fast, humans on the other hand who have much longer intestine do not. imagine those dead flesh sitting in your bowls sometimes up to a few days if you are constipated, kinda sick isn't it??
Vegan and vegetarian foods are delicious if you like you can visit my site and I have many info on vegan recipes that are so simple and so good. Meat is very unhealthy why do you think so many humans get sick from meat related disease. the animals that was killed for you will end up killing you. Karma I guess. (vegan siren)
