How many animals does the average person eat?
Average being that meat is eaten everyday, normal size portions IE 1 Steak or 1 piece of chicken, all types of meat and fish eaten on a regular varied rota, if anyone can list specific numbers of each animal, IE 45 cows, 300 chickens, 500 cod etc that would be the perfect answer, also please do not make answers up by simply guessing!! Thanks, looking forward to your varied answers!!

Lucky for you I have been keeping track of this. I eat 22 and half chickens per year. I only have 3/4 of a cow and 1/16 of a pig. I never eat any animals I have met personally.

Eating meat is a choice, just as not eating a meat is a choice. Before assuming man is crazy for eating meat that is not a fair judgement. Because Christ himself ate fish... not to mention that is how the eco system balances itself out. Not saying that I would abuse and animal in anyway shape or form. I own three kitties that I love dearly and a lizard as well. Do, I agree with the in humane ways that these animals are farmed and slaughtered NO! I will not eat Veal...and for the most part I don't eat much red meat. Man is a carnivore by nature! If you need to be scientific about it, our bodies require protien & iron and a whole lot of nutrients found in meat. I understand you can take supplements and eat a lot of veggies and nuts to replace but it will not replace all. My favorite thing though is when I see Pamela Anderson who is a huge Peta fan boycotting everything that involves meat! But, have you ever seen the movie barb-wire oh yes she is wearing leather, and you see her in ugg boots...leather....and the list can go on..personally she is hypacritical. I believe using our resources for the use of eating is not imoral, but to dress your self in there clothing and waste all the other valueable reasources is imoral!
