I too don't believe it is correct for a person to call themself a vegetarian if they consume chicken or fish, but the correct answer is based on the latin for "Fish and Chicken", and is a: "PESCE POLLO VEGETARIAN". I am a strict vegetarian, and I have been served chicken/fish in error before by people who do not understand that I do NOT consume flesh of any sort. This is why I believe that the above term and recognition lends confusion to the word vegetarian.
