Many of these answers are more or less correct.
Like vegetarians, vegans do not eat dead animals, whether they walk, swim or fly.
Vegans also:
* Do not eat any product that is made from an animal like milk, eggs or honey.
* Do not eat "code words" for products made from animals like casien, whey etc.
* Do not wear clothing or furnishings made from animals like leather, wool or silk
* Do not buy products that are made from or tested on animals like makeup, razors or cleaning supplies.
Many vegans will also not go to zoos and such out of the belief that animals should be free and not locked in cages.
