More fruit and vitamin supplements
You need to supplement your protein. Eat beans, nuts, cereals and other things that have protein. Also make sure you drink enough.
You need to supplement the vitamins, minerals you have removed from your Carnivore diet.
Speak to your doctor or local health food shop (holland & barrett) or even a nutritionist.
You need to think about what foods youa re eating too.
Two days without meat doesn't make you a vegetarian.
Drink lots of water, eat lots of carbs and different kinds of fruit and vegetables (raw and cooked). Use extra virgin olive oil to cook, eat something every 2 hours (the digestion is faster for vegetables, so you need to eat more frequently). Don't give up milk and dairy products. Avoid sugar.
you are not getting your iron from your red meats
Because there are a lot of toxins leaving your body and your body is adjusting to a new diet. This will pass in 3-5 days if you stick to it.Drink lots of water and make sure to take multivitamins until you have a routine down that gives you all the vitamins and minerals you need.I would also get some protein powder to mix with water.
2 days??? you're a stayer aint ya!!!!!
bacon sandwich.... that'll sort ya out!
Are you getting enough protein? Beans are a good source. Also, carbs through pastas, bread, etc. are good for fast energy, they burn quickly though. Just an idea. Plus, your body will probably take a little time to adjust, give it a little time. I am not a vegetarian, but I think this will help.
Well, someone in my family tried to become completly vegetarian. The problem is that you probaly have O blood type. They need meat. Sorry. You could get a blood test to see if you have it. Or I also recommend to take 'Raw Power' (It has a lot of protien in it, naturally too.)Google it-- or Yahoo it. By the way, i'm excited to see more people go vegetarian! I hear that stopping to eat meat takes a bigger impact off global warming than if you stopped driving a car. I couldn't beleive it. I myself still eat chicken and fish. And i wouldn't dream of being vegan. (cheese!) Hope this helps! And Good luck on your vegetarian voyage! -question001
Eat well. You really need to eat proteins, carbohydrates, fruits and stop thinking on never eat a hamburger again..
The brain needs the proteins to work well and the carbohydrates to get the energy to work. Proteins are like the gasoline and at the same time are the engine too and carbohydrates are the spark so that the engine lights and continues in functioning and keeping working. Vitamins are important too , they aren't the organism base, but we need vitamins so our body can be really nourished and stronger.
And don't forget to drink water and fruit juices to be correctly hydrated all the day.
The other time on my breakfast with my integral muffin I mixed grape juice on my glass of cold milk and the flavor was really terrific and delicious and I ate a mango as my favorite fruit and for my meal I had a sandwich of chicken salad with mashed potatoes and carrots on integral bread with my secret home made mayonnaise and a fresh vegetable salad with green lettuce, fresh red tomatoes , a little portion of avocado , prepared with lemon juice and I ate a portion of strawberries with vanilla ice cream as dessert and for dinner I had a piece of meat roast to the plate with my vegetables or with a fresh salad accompanied with integral rice with vegetables and instead of pop you could drink orange juice or strawberry juice with fresh lemonade.
But please.. don't stop eating rightly
I think it's psychological. Two days is not enough time to become deficient in anything unless you are not eating anything at all.
It could either be psychological and or physical. For me I did not go vegetarian right away. I actually tried not eating meat once a day. Then I ate meat every other day. Then only once a week. Then only at special occasions such as being invited to another's house. No I can go without meat no problem. The first time I went vegetarian I did experience some fatigue but only at about the one year mark. But in the beginning I actually felt better than when I ate meat.
Now I feel great but I have learned much since then. I would strongly suggested taking a good multiple to make sure your bases are covered for now till you learn more as well as giving your body time to adjust.
Eating meat is much like an addiction in which withdrawal symptoms are not only possible but likely.
Finally if you go too healthy too quickly you will probably detox. If so you might feel much worse before you feel better as the toxins will be bleeding out of your system in droves. It's like taking a stick and stirring the bottom of a dirty pond. The water gets all cloudy before getting filtered out or resettling to back to the bottom. This actually is not healthy. At least not too quickly or without protection. You need to be on some serious antioxidants else you'll do your body damage.
When I first went on my health kick I never felt so sick in my life. I was drinking filtered water, eating more vegetarian, avoiding refined foods, taking supplementation, etc. Fortunately my girlfriend at the time knew what I was going through else I would have quit.
I encourage you to keep it up as well as keep researching to make yourself feel the way you have always have been dream of. It is possible but like most things good you have to work for it. Best of wishes on this new endeavor.
What are you eating???? Take a look at the vegetarian food pyramid online...if you somewhat follow it, you should feel fine.
Your body is detoxing is why.
Give it a few days, and help it along with lemon juice and apple cider vinegar in water.
You could also add a little more soy to your diet, also beans and lentils.
First 2 days is nothing. Second get off that junk food. Get some rest.
since you stopped eating meat, you might have had a lack of protein and iron
protein rich foods: cashews, beans...especially lentils
iron rich foods: potato skins, cashews, lentils, oatmeal, slim fast
if you plan on being a vegetarian in the long shot and you continue having a lack of energy try seeing a nutritionest
TWO DAYS!?!
How many calories are you eating???
What are you eating?
Two days isn't enough time for detox to start!
It's NOT enough time to become deficient in ANYTHING other than calories! Did you simply cut out the animal products and not replace them with other calorie dense foods? Not to be rude but that sounds likely!
Well it depends on your body, for me as a vegetarian, i wanna share with you, the initial stage your body starts to detox, because you have no intake of meat, so by taking vegetables, your body start to detox and you will feel very weak and no energy, but not to worry, just intake more food (vegetarian) when you feel weak and no energy, this will goes off for about a month for me, but this depends on individual body, some might faster or even slower, so hope you can continue this diet and live happy.
because your hungry? and you need something that sticks to your tummy, add alittle olive oil to your diet, and I am postive you'll feel better soon.
Your gonna need to take vitamins, if you allow yourself, eat eggs for breakfast, and a glass of milk with coffee, and you'll feel soooo great, trust me!! for lunch try a tortilla, put fat free refried beans, and lowfat sourcream, or mayo, alittle taco sauce, that gives me LOTS of energy.
For dinner, alittle pasta, or a soyburger. They now have soy ground meat substitute, you can mix it with your pasta! eat whole wheat pasta, it sticks better. Don't forget!! olive oil!! dip your bread in it, or put it on your pasta, lots of energy!
