Congratulations! Vegetarianism might not be easy for those of us who grew up with the conveniences of fast food. If you can stick to it, you'll be much healthier and feel so much better. Once I gave up beef, it took a while to get used to, but I stopped craving it.
Personally, I do like the BK Veggie. Subway also has a veggie patty sandwich which is very similar. You'll find a vegetarian choice at most major chain sandwich places (Quizno's, Togo's, etc). In desperation, I've ordered a cheeseburger with no meat from McDonald's - they call it a vegetarian, but it's not on the menu of course.
Don't feel bad for going to those places and ordering meatless. In fact, you're letting them know that people want more vegetarian choices.
Any supermarket will carry tofu and veggie burgers. Tofu will be in the refrigerated produce section, typically where asian stuff is (won ton wrappers, kim chee). The veggie burgers are in the frozen food section. Don't forget, there's vegetarian lasagnas, chili, bean burritos, and even "chicken" nuggets and "corn dogs." But stay away from soy hot dogs - yuck! No amount of ketchup can help those things!!!
Good luck... you can do it! Did you take the veg. pledge? They'll give you a free one year subscription to vegetarian times magazine - lots of helpful advice, support, and recipes. I'll find a link for you.
PS- I HATE RAISINS.

Most supermarkets carry vegetarian products where I live, maybe it needs to be a really big market if you live in a very suburban area. There is lots of other stuff you can eat for protein like cheese, eggs, beans, and whole grains. There are also lots of other snacks besides raisins, most snacks are vegetarian. I love carrots with hummus. You can eat fruit and veggies as snacks.
The burger king "burger", I wouldn't eat it if someone paid me. I haven't seen it but all fast food is disgusting and even if you buy veggie burgers from them you still don't know that it's completely vegetarian and you are also supporting all the horrible things they do to people animals and the environment.
Check on happycow.net they list restaurants and stores. Store that normally carry these are Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Henry's, Wild Oats, and some of the major grocery stores and some Wal-Marts.
Most supermarkets have tofu, boca burgers etc. nowadays.
