Animal Rights Group?
A run an animal rights group and in around month it will have been around for a year. It is entirely web based and international, and I'm looking for a way to celebrate the 'birthday' to raise awareness. I could do with some help coming up with ideas? Any help will be very much appreciated.

oo, well there is loads you could do, but what is practical?
Maybe you should set up a chat room on the website, for people to celebrate in it. You could send invivtaions out early.
Or you could just decorate the website, and update it with loads of special features, but rather than telling sad stories, tell the successes groups like you have had.

You could out a happy song on the home page!!! or a video, telling people about the anniversary.
The party could even be over a few days, to make sure everyone can get involved. Have fun, and remember what itis all about :)
Pictures of 1 yr old animals of all shapes & sizes(mastiff to mouse)-put if off as their birthdays with cup cakes with 1 candle burning(bone shape cakes for dogs, fish shaped cakes for cats, .......balloons & confetti anything associated with birthdays for us(humans) A dog with a bow tied around his head- mastiff with big red bow!!!........Have fun!!!!
I think you need to tell us more about your group and it's philosophy. At least give us the link.
Oh and don't do what JeepJeep said.
Contact whomever you are able to, ask for their stories, and the impact that adoption has had on their families.
That was one thing we did.
