What happens if you eat matured loofah (petula)vegetable?!

Question:

What happens if you eat matured loofah (petula)vegetable?

Answers:
Loofah's are gourds so it'd be fairly tough to eat a ripe one. They also get bitter as they get older so it'd be pretty hard to get past the taste if you actually managed to take a bite out of one. The baby ones are actually edible (kind of like squash) so I doubt eating a ripe one would hurt you at all.

Vegetarians do not eat fish. A fish eater is a Piscivore. Spread the correct word!

I imagine it would "scrub" out your insides, like it does the outside when you shower with it.

I agree with Beebs...... umm what is a loofah vegetable, and why would you eat it??
