I don't know about it curing anything.Being cured usually takes various steps, not just one thing. But Coconut oil has been proven to be beneficial. Even though it's been poopoo'd by western doctors because of it's saturated fat content, they fail to overlook cultures that consume coconut almost daily and seem to have very healthy hearts and skin. But I wouldn't look to one thing to fix a problem since multiple things often get you to where you are in the first palce. I don't think eating coconut oil could do you any harm though. I've never heard of any person getting any type of disease from using coconut oil as opposed many people who acquire problems due to animal fats.We use it at home all the time in curry as an alternative to ghee(clarified butter).
