Vegan brooklyn?

i'm moving to new york this summer, and need restaurant advice. i've never had a bit of trouble finding amazing vegetarian options, but i've recently cut out eggs and dairy as well. i'll be living in brooklyn (boerum hill / carrol gardens area) and going to school in manhattan (nyu). any restaurant recommendations are greatly appreciated.

also, i prefer to cook whole unprocessed foods (no sugar, white flour, white rice, white pasta, etc), so i'd love recommendations of natural foods stores, as well.
