Vegetarians....do you eat at fast food restaurants?
The reason I ask is because I am a vegetarian and I ate at Taco Bell in the past because the menu had several vegetarian options BUT the past two times they have put beef into my vegetarian bean burritos.....so I think this had done me in on fast food. What are your opinions on it?

i stopped eating after finding out my freedom fries are loaded with beef tartar or whatever you wanna calls it
and i also had beef in my vegg burito
and got meat in my meatless spring roll
and meat in my vegg lovers pizza
so i no longer eat fast food, maybe one day if they make a all vegetarian fast food place...
Well i really do love junk food but i really only eat fast food if im on a road trip or sometimes at the mall. I ushually just get french fries and a salad depending were i am, but ive never had a bad experience like that at Taco Bell.
when you eat at fast food restaurants, make sure you take out any sort of meat in your meal...then it's ok to eat there...i've done it before..
being a vegetarian is to be healthy and fast food isnt good for you unless u go to a vegetarian resturaunt i think the vegetarian stuff in the fast food places are going to be really not good for u because it is a fast food place and they do stuff to the food to make it taste better i just dont see a fast food place actually having healthy food even if they say it is vegetarian
Burger Kind has the veggie burgers and there's lots of other options. Last time I ate at McDonalds I had a salad. But, fries, shakes and the desserts are always options! I just don't eat at fast food restaurants that often, I really don't like them anymore.
I always eat at Taco Bell and I never have problems with them putting meat in anything! They've accidentally put meat on my nachos before, but i took them back and got new ones.
Before you leave the drive-thru, check your items!! Return them if they do have meat!
I rarely eat fast food. I cannot bring myself to consume something so unhealthy. However if friends are stopping there and eating I sometimes eat a salad, but mostly I just get a soda.
Im an omnivore and i barely ever eat fast food its not healthy for you at all. Also service is not very good which caused you to get beef in your vegetarian burritos.
It really depends on where you go. I'd suggest not going to that particular Taco Bell again, but my local one is fine. My only real thought on this is to make sure that you're not going on a calorie fest- even veggie options can be dangerous!
Good luck!
The biggest problem with shop food is they cant get their heads around vegetarian and vegan recipes. there is literally thousands of vegetarian recipes and yet when I go into a restraunt there is if I am lucky a token pasta meal. I went to a Hare Kristner restraunt and the array of dushes was truly amazing. I love vegie food. If you do order something make sure you stress I am a vegetarian or get them to make something.
I usually avoid fast food and non-vegetarian restaurant. However, if i am travelling, I would order only garden salad (without the dressing).
I had a bad experience at a restaurant where they put fish into my meal.
Your situation could have been accidental, but that would mean that they did not wash their utensils or cuterly before preparing your food ie did not practice proper hygiene.
I was vegetarian for a while as I found it hard to eat meat for a few years, and never had any issues in fast food places, we don't have Taco Bell in the UK though. Thank goodness I can now eat meat again, I found the veggie selection very minimal.
no. it is a contradiction in logic.
