this is my personal breakfast smoothie recipe. i like it because its simple and light and perfect for breakfast.
in a blender add...
about half a cup of milk
a really ripe banana
a few chopped strawberries
a teaspoon of sugar (depending on how sweet the fruit is)
a few ice cubes
blend!!! and enjoy.
you can add other berries or different fruit as well....i like peaches in it too. you could also add a splash of orange juice instead of sugar to sweeten it....if you like it thicker, add a spoon or two of yogurt.
You don't need a recipe, just buy lots of fruit and experiment! I like putting banana's in the liquidiser with a range of other fruits and some fruit juice. The banana's add a bix of thickness.
well it doent have veggies, but a good fruit smoothy includes..
Frozen Strawberrys
Plain Vanilla Yogurt
Apple Juice
Ice
Honey (for sweetness)
Just add them all to your blender. Just put as much stuff in as you want. Not TOO much yogurt though. It could get thick and taste weird. And add more juice if it doesnt blend good. Hope i helped!
fruit
Apple juice, some strawberries and a banana. If you use the presweetened frozen strawberries you just fill the mixer with those and a banana (or part banana) since it's flavor goes far. Fill about 3/4 high and fill with apple juice to about 80-90% high then blend.
If you use frozen or fresh strawberries you might wish to add some sweetener like honey or melted sugar, depending on your taste.
Also, you can use vanilla soy milk instead of apple juice for a shake style drink.
I also use mixed berries from the frozen section with the apple juice, and peaches with soy milk. In fact, many stores now have frozen fruit mixes ready to use for this. One I used was tropical fruits like pineapples.
this site has recepies of smoothies and a lot of good stuff

enjoy
You can make a great smoothie with rice or almond milk, yogurt (make sure its one that doesnt have gelatine) banannas and fresh berries. For a veggie smoothie, blend some carrots, celery, parsley, cucumber, and apple in a blender with some water and a splash of apple cider vinegar. You can add a little yogurt to it if you want it thicker.
You can also make great smoothies with organic baby food-the blueberry one is yummy mixed with yogurt and rice milk. I also like the pear puree. If you want your smoothies sweeter, try adding a bit of agave nectar or honey to them.
Hope this helps.
Just throw a bunch of stuff in a blender. I like:
plain yogurt with blueberries and strawberries. I usually put a scoop of vanilla protein powder and a dash of flax oil. You can buy a bag of frozen fruit at the store and dump it in with some juice or whatever. Try using carrots and oranges. That is sooooo good!
1 banana, strawberry filling (found in refrigerated/frozen food section-it's strawberries in a plastic container in it's own juice) and yogurt OR vanilla ice cream
add ice chips if you please :)
You dont need a recipie just experiment and it will probably be delicious. But i suggest adding yogurt or milk in with all the fruit and fruit juices.
well what i do is, get yogut and put it into the mixer, then fruit or any thing you like into it to, then mix it, pour it into a cup/glass, then enjoy! :Dxxx
