me...!! i've been a vegetarian for 30 years.
There's many interesting things to eat as a vegetarian, my mum is one.
Your health improves, but your iron levels drop. My mum has to take iron tablets.
If you don't like many vegetables, then you might have a problem. But there are many combinations.
Also, my mum doesn't eat cheese forced from cows, gelatin and other things.
Lets see. Better overall health, better digestion, improved cardiac function, more stamina, clear skin, shiny hair, strong nails, great body, lower cholesterol, less body odor, and improved endurance. I was crippled and sickly when I ate meat, now I am perfectly healthy. Its a great way of life, and I feel better knowing nothing had to bleed and die in order for me to meet my nutritional needs and satisfy my appetite.
there is a saying that the type of food you eat, so shall you become. Food becomes our body. so the effects are good thoughts, kindness for others, lightness in the body..........
well, good for the animals....if you need to lose some weight, good diet plan....clearer skin....tend to eat more frequently, but that's good....less likely for diseases associated with meat....et cetera et cetera....
There is a risk of becoming a patronizing bast*rd !!
Less chance of certain cancers and heart disease. There was even a report recently that says that adding more broccoli and soy to the diet can block the proteins that certain cancers thrive off of.
Vegetarianism helps to improve health, gives relief to the environment, and helps spiritual growth by showing compassion through allowing others to live in peace.
A decrease in the risk of heart disease and diabeties because you take in less fats and cholesterol (unless you are sitting around eating doritos all day which would be dumb anyways). So a healthier heart.
Heart disease is the leading cause of death in americans....we consume tons of animal products. In countries that do not, risk of heart disease is very low, as well as diabeties.
And a healthier level of protein intake. Most Americans get too much protein, almost double the recommended daily value.
try to ask them..but i think that with it,,you can be healthy..
