Salad crisper?!

Question:

Salad crisper?

Is there a such thing as a salad crisper or something close?

Answers:
The drawers in the fridge are called crispers, but all they do is slow down the wilting process.
The best way of crisping up things, and if they are not too far gone, is to give them a good soaking in (ice) cold water.
Dry in a salad spinner.

just cold water ,,if the salad is sort of wilty ,sock it into some cold water to crisp it up but make sure its dried well after ,,

people call the fridge drawer the crisper...it doesn't make anything crisp.

To make fresh veggies crisp: submerge in water in a glass pie plate (not much water) and point a reading lamp, sunshine, etc for 2hours or so. Works great on slighlty old peapods.
