kidney or pinto beans will hook you up with plenty of protein

I would say dry beans have the most proteins.

any beans,peanut butter

Check out brewer's yeast. It is 50% protein and loaded with B vitamins and chromium, a nutrient essential for carbohydrate metabolism.

Nuts are also a good source of protein, especially peanuts.

Tofu. I buy the extra firm. It will pick the flavors of whatever you want to marinate it in, I use soy sauce, garlic and ginger.

Beans and nuts have some protein, but not enough to sustain a healthy body.

Tofu is a good vegetarian choice if you can stand the taste.

You should try protein bars or power bars. They have about 15 to 30 grams of protein. And also they have a lot of different vitamins that might be useful especially if you're a Vegan.

lentils are also packed with protein and fiber

This is all you need to know. Great info:

big steak rare, one of the best things for you

tempeh has quite a lot, not to mention tastes a lot better than tofu. it's better to eat a variety of food though, you shouldn't depend on one food for any nutrient.

red peas

If you're talking about whole foods, beans, especially soy. But all beans are high in protein. If you include 'artificial' extracted stuff, wheat gluten is highest in protein, pound for pound. It basically is pure protein. It's not a good quality protein on its own because it lacks lysine but this can be made up for using beans.

Hemp Nuts. has all plant proteins, omega 3,6,9s and is vegan. its available at your local Rainbow Grocery or you could go online and buy it there.
