Do you know whats in the meat you eat?!

Question:

Do you know whats in the meat you eat?

Did you knw that each year the cattle-feed industry buys millions of deae cats and dogs from animal shelters. there fed to cattle, along with dead ducks, geese, elk, and deer.
O and that they New Beef Grinding machines scrape meat from the bones of cattle carcasses. The process can contaminate meat with bacteria.
Eww what else do you know about meat?

Answers:
The 'meat' I eat is made from soy and wheat. I don't consume dead animals!

Did you know that cows are still fed cow? Most folks think that that was banned but what they only banned feeding the cows cow meat! The feed still contains cattle blood and it's perfectly legal to feed them flesh from other animals (but not quite the way you put it). To start with the cattle slaughterhouse waste parts get cooked (hydrolyzed) and that gets fed to all the other 'food' animals. The slaughterhouse waste (including feathers) gets cooked and becomes part of cattle feed.

In any case the feed companies don't *directly* buy all the dead animals and animal scrap. It's rendering plants that buy them and process them into hydrolyzed animal protein, fats and fatty acids, bone meal and more. Their products aren't just used for animal feed but also thousands of other products including drugs, cosmetics, soaps, glues, bone meal, bone char and even human food product ingredients like gelatine and more!

What have YOU been eating or putting on your hair and face?

Vegetarians do not eat fish. A fish eater is a Piscivore. Spread the correct word!

I know that it is Delicious!!!

That sounds like a crock to me.

Keep in mind no offense here, I don't want to start anything.

I believe in peta, peopel who eat tasty animals.

Now I have a question for you, do you know what is in those veggie burgers you eat? Not pretty.

I come from a town where they grind old cheese into feed. I still eat meat. What I don't know, won't hurt me.

Good source of protein, iron, vitamin b1, b3, b6, b12, and folic acid. Plus, there's nothing like a good steak!

It also contains parasites, bacteria, blood, pus, urine, feces, amines, purines, cholesterol, growth hormones, steroids, antibiotics, disease, and loads of other nasty stuff. Meat is disgusting. I will take my lovely fresh veggies and fruits and grains, any day

You can learn a great deal from reading "Fast Food Nation" by Erik Schlosser. I don't remember much, but I do remember feeling sick on several occasions. Worth a read, eh!
