would that one a day womans vitamin pretty much cover that vitamins i should be taking...

Taking too many supplements can be bad (or a waste of money). if you have a local vitamin store they usually have specialists that can help. keep in mind if you are eating a lot of green veggies, that one serving has the daily supply of iron for the day. there are other supplements that could be good, such as gamma linoleic acid (GLA) which helps regulate hormones (could reduce PMS) and assists liver function. about 400mg a day is sufficent.
the best way to get your vitamins is to eat a well balanced diet full of colorful foods.

They are good and so are Centrum. I used to buy all sorts of premium stuff at the nutrition stores and then I learned how easy it is to overdose on certain vitamins and minerals- especially since so many of our foods are enhanced these days. I spoke to the pharmacist and she endorsed both brands.
Try to get your nutrients from food first and take your vitamins in the evening- with a meal or snack. Its the best time to take them because your body repairs itself overnight.
