What was the first diet given to man, according to the word of God?!
What was the first diet given to man, according to the word of God?
Give me straight out of the Bible.
Answers:
Genesis 1:29
Then God said, "Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be food for you
Aren't we talking about the Garden of Eden? And the fishes, winged, and four legged creatures of the earth? (I'm not thinking that brontosauras steaks were considered here....)
"eat whatever you find in the garden".. such as snails, snakes, etc.
;-)
Genesis 1: 29-31
as you know allah is the one true god, and his motto is 'Go crazy dudes!'
Well, the Bible is the word of man, not God. God is not an author, as far as I know.
Anyway... The first of the Ten Commandments is "thou shall not kill" ! Isn't it ? Are there any precisions ? NO ! If you're a good Christian Thou shall not eat meat !
I am not religious, and I am not trying to act like I have knowledge of the bible, but I did attend 11~12 years of catholic school(not including kinder garden) And As far as I know,"god" "created" "Adam And Eve" and put them in the "garden of Eden" and told them to eat all the fruit except for the tree of knowledge or something... seems like a pretty vegetarian diet to me...
"One man's faith allows him to eat everything, but another man, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables."
― Romans 14:2 (NIV translation)
Let no one pass judgment on you in questions of food and drink. (Colossians 2:16)
The Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some in the church will turn away from Christ and become eager followers of teachers with devil inspired ideas. These teachers will tell lies with straight faces and do it so often that their consciences won't even bother them. They will say that it is wrong to be married and wrong to eat meat, even though God gave these things to well-taught Christians to enjoy and be thankful for. For everything God made is good, and we may eat it gladly if we are thankful for it. ( I Timothy 4:1-4, Living Bible)
And... there is the Cain and Abel story, Cain being the tiller of the ground and Abel the keeper of flocks, God rejects Cain's offering and accepts Abel's offering (Plants+veg. vs. Meat)...
Genesis 1: 29-31 does not say (you shall not eat meat) it just says that all the plants were given as a source of food... just like meat.
