I want to become a vegetarian?!
I want to become a vegetarian?
but I need to no what to buy besides fruits and vegetables, And what can I make with them?
Answers:
Praise God. That is one of the best decisions that anyone can possibly make for their overall health and prosperity. Regardless what man may say, flesh foods take much longer to digest, putting a heavier burden on the body, thus taxing much more energy and applying toxins to the body. Flesh foods also increase acidity in the blood, greatly, which paves way for cancer to take over and other illnesses as well. A non-flesh diet is what our Creator had in store for us to begin with (read Gen 1 and 2), only did meats come when the flood did, for you cannot have a garden in a flood (read Gen 9). Flesh foods are very diseased now, including fish and chicken, and is the diet that will best suit anyone who is conscientious about maintaining and taking the best care of the bodies that God has given to them.

stop eating meat!!! i can't just now, i switch to veggies burgers sometimes
Read up on it. You can go to any bookstore and get a beginner's vegetarian cookbook (it's a great help, too, so I recommend it). You'll probably have a more varied diet than you do now, believe it or not. You can also go to www.vegweb.com and search their countless recipes. I suggest the beginner's cookbook because there are a lot of foods that I was not familiar with when I made the switch that are now staples in my diet, and the book usually explains what they are to make it less confusing when you go shopping.
Its simply there are alot of vegetarian products already in stores you just don't realize.
Morning Star is a huge Breakfast food company and its all meat-free. If you want to give up dairy, tofu and soy is a good way to go. You can also look at www.vegetarian.com For tips.
Why? Meat is good and good for you.
Vegetarian is a lot easier than Vegan. You can eat anything that isn't a piece of meat. Tofu is a good "sponge" for whatever you cook it in and pastas are good with just tomato sauces. You could pick up a vegetarian cookbook at the store and it will have hundreds of recipes. There is many vegetarian websites also you could get recipes from. Good Luck.
my 15 yo daughter is a veg.she eats alot of frozen soy meat sub. products .there alot of options out there and they taste good too and i like meat.they have hotdogs bugers sausage and lots of things.you dont have to become a rabbit to be veg.
Becoming a vegetarian is easy! You just look at ingredients and determine if the product works for you. I make tons of pasta dishes (alot of pasta is egg free) and rice. You can make curries (most Indian food is vegetarian), stir-frys, etc. There is a product that simulates ground beef in texture called TVP. It is really good with some BBQ sauce on a bun! Also look in the veggie aisle for veggie lunch "meat" and other items. Look in the freezer case for veggie burgers, dogs, sausage, bacon, "chicken strips", "steak strips", etc. I use the last two for things like Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches and Wild rice with Chicken strips. Most of these products are difficult to tell from real meat and I have fooled my relatives many times into thinking they are eating meat.!
This is a cool website for beginner vegetarians. It gives you a pantry list.... Check it out and you will find lots of info:

You can get vegetarian cookbooks at a library. I think you can eat pasta and all sorts of beans, as well as fruits and vegetables and seafood. It depends on what kind of vegetarian you want to become.
