I don't want to just trust some random recipe from a site which is why I'm not going to just google it. I'd really prefer a recipe that someone has tried.

OATMEAL COOKIES

? cup margarine softened (unsalted and gelatin free)
1-cup brown sugar
Egg replacer for 1 egg
1/4 cup soya milk
1-teaspoon vanilla extract (pure if possible)
1-tablespoon molasses
1 cup flour of your choice (can be spelt)
1/2-teaspoon salt
?-teaspoon baking powder
?-teaspoon cinnamon
3-cups oatmeal
1-cup chopped walnuts/pecans
12-ounces dairy free choc. chips or carob chips

Preheat oven at 350 degrees. Beat margarine and sugar first in a big bowl. Add egg replacer and the rest of wet ingredients. Slowly mix in flour, salt, baking powder and cinnamon until well blended. Mix in oatmeal followed by walnuts and chocolate chips.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown. Wait 2 minutes and then get cookies onto a wire rack to cool.

Gosh some people just absolutely love vegan bashing! I really don't know what we do to invite the animosity (inconvenient truth?)

I'm not sure how someone's random posting on YA! is going to be anymore reliable than a google'd one. If you looking for something proven then I'd consult a vegan cookbook.

Vegan Brownie-Oat Cookies:

15 min 5 min prep
20-30 servings

2/3 cup flour
1/3 cup sugar
1 cup oats
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 egg substitute
1/3 cup maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla

1. Mix egg replacer, vanilla, and syrup.
2. Add to dry ingredents and stir until moistened.
3. Form into small balls and bake on greased cookie sheets at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
