Do vegetarians eat animal crackers?!

Question:

Do vegetarians eat animal crackers?

Answers:
I love this question, that would depend on the vegetarian!

My question would be, would they dunk them in milk?

I don't think animal crackers contain meat, so yes.

Lol. yeah i bet they do, after all the meats not in there.

Excuse me. But we vegetarians do not eat meat and we don't appreciate petty comments like that. Although the idea of eating animals upsets us, it is only the realistic animals that we refuse to eat. Some of us serious participants in the art of vegitrinitarianity do find that offensive. Please be sensitive to our beliefs.

Funny! My vegetarian friend does....

No. They are made with lard (animal fat). They truly are ''animal'' crackers.

I dont see why, but I dont see why not.

Ive seen a few of my vegetarian friends eat them, but I see how it can be wrong, because theyre in the shape of animals and that could symbolize something bad.

i suppose that the answer to this question would be no, but it could be a matter of personal opinion, but none the less, i like the question

Yes, vegetarians eat animal crackers because they don't have any animal parts in it.

Only if the animals themselves are vegans. No carnivores allowed.

no shii shirlock... yes ofcourse they eat animal crackers.. jus coz da frikin cracker is in shape on animal doesnt mean that its made outta animal meat... its like me saying to u "hey u eat dog, elephants, gorrilas and giraffes jus coz u eat animal cracker"

HAHAHA

i agree with the 3rd chick that answered. my vegetarian/vegan friends and i have been asked that several times before, it's really unpleasant and annoying.

Yeah my friend does.

Wow, some people took this question way too seriously.

LOL, LOL! Yes they do but only the organic kind sweetie! Good one though!

That's so clever I've never heard that one before. I'm awed by your incredible wit!

(Don't listen to that guy who will tell you it's been posted here 140 times. He's lying. And don't try searching for them yourself, Yahoo is lying too.)

"The monkey's the only cookie animal that gets to wear clothes, you know that?...So, I'm wondering, do the other cookie animals feel sorta ripped? Like, is the hippo going, 'Hey, man, where are *my* pants? I have my hippo dignity!' And you know the monkey's just, (with a French accent) 'I mock you with my monkey pants!' And there's a big coup in the zoo."

It really amazes me how many people are willing to blow five points on this question. I've only been on Y! Answers for two weeks and this is like the 10th time I've see this. Dosen't it ever get old?

141st person to ask that question!

Some do & some don't. A true Vegan definately would NOT because they contain ingredients that come from animals. Things like lard, milk, eggs, & even honey would be a no-no for a vegan. Vegetarians tend not to be as restricted in what they consume as the Vegans are!

I think the only unpleasant answer here was from the vegetarian. Maybe the intent of the question was petty, but it's really an interesting one. I would think vegetarians, like anyone on any particular diet, would read the labels. If the cookies are made with animal fat (Crisco), then no, they wouldn't eat them. If the vegetarian is vegan, then absolutely they would NOT eat them. They would be made with either lard, butter and/or eggs.

Yes because there is NO meat involved

yeah like vegan said, this is sooo original...

Hint: try searching this question before you post in on here, You might not think it is that cute and original when you see the thousands of people that have already asked this question.
