Vegetarian?!
Vegetarian?
I decided I would like to become a vegetarian but would still like to eat some seafoods. Is this allowed? Basically I don't want to eat chicken, beef, or pork anymore but I still want some seafood. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Do what you want .If you want to have a little seafood go for it! I eat mostly vegetarien dishes and I do include seafood in my diet. Giveing up the beef, chicken and pork is a good thing.Dont make your diet to strict or eating wont be much fun. Go to the library and take out a vegetarian cook book You'll find lots of ideals there ...and for a complete protein use beans and rice together. It's a complete protein like meat You might take a daily vitamin to make sure your getting everything your body needs. kitkatz06
If you strictly want to be a vegetrian than no seafood....the only exceptio is egg. Why restrict your self enjoy what you want...ok
you don't have to be a strict vegitarian... especially not at first ^-^ pace yourself and don't stop yourself from enjoying life :p
It's all about personal preference. Some people will go totally vegan and not eat anything that relates to an animal. But there are different levels of vegetarianism. So don't think anyone will judge you because it's all just what you want and what's good for you as a vegetarian. =]
You can be a non strict vegitarian if you want to eat seafood, but they say you shouldn't eat alot of seafood because of all the mercury in it
strict vegetarians don't eat fish.... ovo- lacto's eat eggs and dairy, vegans eat no meat products at all.... i eat fish sometimes... i don't so much consider myself a vego any more because i eat fish
I've been a vegetarian since I was born. I have never eaten any meat in my life, (I mean none)
and becoming a vegetarian and eating seafood, I think is fine. you can be a seavegie - a person who eat sea food but no other meat.
PS - I made the word seavegie up
Also there is no rule to really be vegetarian unless people who decided to Become vegetarians made some but I think you just need to be more of a vegie eater then anything else.
I dont eat red meat. I eat alot of seafood and consider myself some sort of vegetarian, do whatever makes you comfortable.
yea it s fine. i just think its gross.
That would be a pescatarian, not vegetarian.
Do what ever you want... You dont have to be strict vegterian...
first of all do it, eat your veggs and seafoods
but don't eat seafood, is not good for you.
You can eat what ever you want to, but your not really a vegetarian if you eat seafood. There is nothing wrong with that, choose what you feel comfortable with.
You can always go fully vegetarian later. Is there any reason you are cutting out chicken, beef, ect, but not seafood?
It's completly up to you, eat what you want.
