What about this dilemma?!
What about this dilemma?
You are on a life raft that can hold at most 550 pounds. You weigh 150 pounds, you have a pig that weighs 150 pounds, you have drinks that weigh 150 pounds (you cannot drink the ocean water), and you have fully prepared corn that weighs 150 pounds.
Which do you throw overboard?
Answers:
Why would I take a pig with me?
And how is the raft floating to begin with(600 lbs already)?
And why would I have 150 lbs worth of drinks?
What kind of drinks do I have?
Cause if it is something gross, like milk, or pepsi then I'm throwing that overboard! But then Again milk wouldn't stay good so It can be milk... Bottled water?
I don't weight 150 lbs though....
what if I brought a water filtration system?
And why would the corn be fully prepared?
Did I know that I would be stranded?? Why did I go?
How did I prepare it in the first place?
ohh maybe it is canned...
Is in canned?
Ohhh NO I don't have a can opener!
Is it just corn in bowls? How much do the bowls weigh?
NO what Am I saying It can't be in bowls....canned! Right.
I think that I would split the bottled water with Larry (the pig), Throw the water filtration system overboard, Use the canned corn as weights, Work out until I had massive muscles. (but then I would weigh more! but its OK Larry would loose some weight... Sooo.. Then I would make Larry steer and I would swim the raft to shore! Yes!
I believe that I just beat your puzzle... I want 10 points!
The pig - I am not gonna eat raw pork!
(and it doesn't sound like there's a way to cook it on the life raft!)
Bye bye piggy!
The pig. It is going to stink up the boat. I'd eat the corn even if it wasn't fully prepared.
Hmm, is the lifeboat actually floating on the water....
Well, if I'm already on the raft with the pig, the drinks, and the corn (as stated), it's clear that the raft can hold at least 600 pounds. Therefore, I'm not throwing anything off the raft.
pig
50 lbs of corn. By the time you got around to eating 100 lbs of corn, either someone would have already found you or you'd jump off the liferaft b/c you're sick of eating corn! What does this have to do with vegan/vegetarian cooking anyway?
none of it-I am an excellent swimmer and float effortlessly without dog paddling-I would just flip over on my back, float endlessly, and save the whole lot. The pig can share the corn and water with me until we are rescued. You really do try hard to justify animal cruelty and meat eating, dont you? You obviously spend a great deal of time thinking this stuff up. Why not take the plunge and try being a veggie for a day? You might surprise yourself
i jump over board and drag my life raft the safty
and if the pig is still alive, i would problly kill it at some point.
if the pig is dead, i would throw it over board, but I won't kill it if it's still alive and trying to help me out of this mess, if the pig don't help, then i problly would have to kill it.
