V8 should have most of the vitamins from veggies. However, it will not give you the fiber, starch and other nutrients. If you eat fruits, whole grains and other minimally processed plant products and take a good multivitamin you should be okay though.
eh... ad some sugar and maybe some fruit juice 2 it.
i think so that v8 is good for you
you r lucky that you like it i wish i liked it then i could have more veggies in my diet
No. High in salt, and not nearly enough nutrition.
Yes, in every 8-ounce glass of V8 juice, there are two servings of vegetables. It's really good for you.
you can drink v-8 but you should also eat a small vegie too.
a carrot or a small salad will be good
No it won't. Your body needs the fiber of veggies. In V8, sugar and other ingredients are added.
nothing can substitute eating fresh vegetables. eating them raw is the best way to get all the nutrients, but you can also steam, stir fry or even juice them. drink v8 when you're on the go, but try to eat as much veggies as you can everyday.
all bottled juices (unless specified) have been pasteurized. when they pasteurize the v8 juice, they're killing the supposedly "bad" bacteria, but they're also killing the good enzymes. so if they're killing the good with the bad, how much of the vegetables' nutrients are you really getting?
best wishes.
I'm in the same boat........I drink Low Sodium V-8, because the other has WAY too much salt!
Well, the packaging says a cup is 2 servings of veggies......
No, its not the same. The bottling process exposes the veggies to high heat, which kills of the beneficial enzymes you get from fresh fruits and veggies. The veggies in V8 are also concentrated, which makes them even weaker. Try juicing your own veggies, or making green smoothies-much better for you
I know some people are fixated on raw but the value of raw doesn't hold up to processed when talking about lycopene. Research proves time and time again that V8 and processed tomato products greatly outperform raw tomato products when it comes to providing lycopene, which is a cancer buster!. If you like tomatos and lycopene, you're far smarter to go with a V8 rather than munching down a raw tomato. So, drink up and enjoy all those cancer-fighting nutrients!
