My mate wants 2 turn a vegitarian, but she does not no what 2 eat then?? Any1 got any suggestions??
Answers:
It's easy. Stop eating all flesh (red meat, poultry and fish) and anything with gelatine, rennet etc in. Eat EVERYTHING ELSE!!!

Depends on what sort of vegetarian your buddy wants to become.
There are vegetarians that still eat dairy, cheese, fish, chick and poultry.
There are some vegetarians that will still eat eggs and vegetables only.
Then there are the vegans, who will eat absolutely nothing that came from or is associated with an animal.
It seems silly to me, considering humans were created to be omnivores, to devour flesh and plants.
Eat some meat when young and more when older to et the proper proteins you need t stay healthyt.
We are not strictly vegatarians. If we were the teeth would be different and the digestive system would be idfferent.
Humans are meat eaters as well as many other things.
All monkeys and apes are as well. Most get their meat proteain by eting insects. A lot of the food they eat is infested with insects and they eat the alont with the vegetation.
Humans do need some meat every day.
Apparently one of the best thing for protein for both vegans and vegetarians is nuts, like Brazil nuts, peanuts, pistachios, cashews and many more. Also it is best to eat them non-salted.
http://petaeats.com/ has tons of recipies. For meat substitutes, find veggie burgers, patties and hotdogs by MorningStar Farms, Boca, Gardenburger. And eat lots of fruits, veggies, nuts.
Its so simple, anything other than meat, fish, poultry or slaughter by-products.

I guess i'm missing the point of the question here.
I totally diagreee with the " we need to eat meat at least once a day" comment- as i have been vegetarian for the past 11 years and im only 22 and im perfectly healthy- you get all the protein you need from nuts, tofu and quorn.

Tell her to eat what she would have eaten with meat. Meat can be substituted by tofu, veggie patties and veggie/soy dogs. Tell her also to find some vegetables she really likes and to go online or get a good vegetarian cook book and to try new stuff. You will see, in a couple of weeks she will have tons of new recipes which she will love to eat and prepare.
hey its ok, its not all that bad. morning star has vegie hotdogs, groundmeet, corndogs, patties, chicken patties, lots of other and are all veggie, their in your grocers freezer isle. you can have like pastas and broccoli alfredos. the skies the limit. and trust me you'll feel a bit better maybe even lose some weight. try some organics as well. there are lots to choose from. itll b ok
While a lot of people have opinions whether vegetarianism is good or not, i think it is very healthy. I reccomend your friend to look up recipie online preferabbly from different countries cuisine. In my opinion, american vegetarian food sucks.!!!
Depends on what your friend wants to go for. If you like spicy food, Indian, vietnamese food are good to look into. If you like rice, a lot of asian countries make a large varitey of them. If you are not that much into spices, i reccommend italian or other vegetarian food cuisines.
