I think that your parents probably worry that you're not going to be taking care of yourself. And you don't want them to treat you like a child. So, handle this the way you would if you were an adult. Be wise and put your health first to show that you can take care of yourself. Do the work, don't make your parents do it for you. Don't argue with them because they just are concerned about you.
1) See your doctor to get help in selecting the proper foods to ensure that you get enough protein and other vitamins. Seeing a doctor will also show your parents that you can be responsible. Let your parents accompany you, or talk to them about what your doc recommends. He might send you to a nutritionist. (there might be a nutritionist available at a free clinic for children in your area.)
2) Do research, bring home some books about vegetarian diets. Read them. And let them see that you're reading them.
3) Talk to your parents about what you've learned about how you can ensure that you stay healthy.
4) Offer to go to the grocery store with your parents when they shop so that you can pick out the items you'll need.
They'll see that you are acting like an adult if you take responsibility and they're more likely to let you make your own choices.

It has tons of great Vegan health info.

don't worry, in our societies the worst problem is that we eat too much, not that we are lacking of something... even in cookies you will find eggs and get proteins... I know many vegetarians and they are very healthy.

I assume you mean chronic fatigue syndrome? If thats the case, tell you parents its very likely that meat is the cause of that, along with other food allergies. You might be allergic to wheat, soy, eggs and dairy, and all of those same proteins are in meat. Ask to have food allergy testing done-I highly suspect thats the cause of someone so young having CFS. Keep a food journal-write down EVERYTHING you eat or drink, including gum, candy, etc. See if your CFS is worse within 36 hours of eating certain foods-you will likely see a pattern. If food allergies are the case, if you avoid your allergens, your CFS will go away completely. You have to watch for hiddens sources, such as in salad dressings, pastries, processed foods, etc. Good luck, email me if you need more info.

its more unhealthy to eat meat. the cows, pigs, chickens ect are all fed drugs to make them gain weight also meat contains alot of bacteria. the poor animals live in dirty conditions where they can hardly move or do any think else that comes naturally to them. my advice to you is find some websites about factory farming and show your mum and dad and remember being Vegitarian is a healthy way of life. for more info look at this website http://www.goveg.com

guess what?
the exact same thing happened to me when i decided to switch my diet, but see the problem with me was that i wanted to stop immediately, but my dad said no, so i restarted eating a little meat but gradually i stopped without him noticing that i've actually stopped...lol
it worked
