Simple raw live food menus for the busy folks?!

Question:

Simple raw live food menus for the busy folks?

what are some raw food combinations and menus.. when one doesn't have that much time to grate, julienne, etc? a friend of mine would simply pack whole foods to munch on them for lunch. i'm not too picky and could do the same, but want to make sure i'm getting a good variety of nutrients in my diet. any recommended websites?

Answers:
there are some great raw food groups on yahoo with good info. When I first went raw 3 years ago, I fiddled with all of the fancy pates, pies, etc. I found I prefer stuff just as it comes. Nothing better than a piece of ripe fruit, or a crunchy raw veggie with some sprouted hummus. I follow the 80/10/10 diet, with 80 percent of my food being raw, and the other 20 percent lightly steamed or grilled. I love raw food bars-I use the pulp leftover from juicing fruits and veggies, and add seeds and nuts, dates, and a little agave nector, then dehydrate them in my food dehyrator-they make a great portable snack. Lara Bars and Raw Revolution bars are great too, with a piece of fresh fruit

I like the Boutenko family website. www.rawfamily.com. I traveled with them for a bit, and kind of learned their style. They are a very realistic family - not the typical high income froo froo hippy types who are loaded with money (and time to julienne!) you see in these health food types of movements. They tell it like it is, and keep it real. Good luck on the RF diet. They have an awesome testimony of what happened when they used nutrition to heal their many ailments (tumor, asthma, juvenile diabetes, etc.)

I don't know of any websites besides the ones that have already been stated, but I like to bring trail mix with me wherever I go, or peanuts, raisins, etc.

I also carry celery and peanut butter because it's my favorite.

As far as whole meals, that's a tough one, I always have a hard time packing for a lunch break and I always end up spending money on food because it's hard to carry veggie meals (not snacks) with you.

Anyway, I hope I helped with the snacks. It doesn't seem like much but peanuts, cashews, walnuts, etc., can keep you full for a long time.

zucchini spegeti!!! it is the best!
