I don't know what to do?!
I don't know what to do?
I want to become vegetarian, but my family makes meat every night for dinner. If I dont eat my share, wouldnt it be like cow wasted? But when I do eat it, I feel guilty. I really dont want to waste an animal though. I mean; If its already there, shouldnt I eat it before it rots and gets wasted? I dont really want to tell my parents, because.. Just because.

What are the reasons why you want to be a vegetarian? Most people don't have a feeling of guilt for not eating an animal, instead, it's the opposite. If you don't really want to tell them, then maybe you can try it slowly. Just tell your parents you want to eat healthier and stick to just fish in the meantime. Otherwise, why don't you take a more active part in cooking the food. Maybe you can make some adjustments where you wouldn't have to eat meat. Also, you might want to find on-line the vegetarian starter kit. It gives some ideas. Good luck!
If you really want to become a vegetarian, but still rely on your parents for food, you are going to have to tell them.
And the meat is still gonna rot... only not in the trash... in your intestines.
Sorry to be mean, but that's how it is, If you really wanted to be a vegetarian, then you would confront your parents about it.
eat out.Stick on burgers(veg)
Well, if you try to go vegetarian, but don't want to tell your parents, they'll probably notice something's up anyways. However, if there is any way to store the food, at least overnight, then do that. The next day, you can pass off the food to a non-vegetarian friend who wants it. You might be thinking "What's the point of that? The meat is still getting eaten!" and yes, that's true, but the friend you give it to probably won't be eating any other meat for that meal, which, in the long run, will make a difference.
However, one thing you have to be careful of is that you are eating well. You'll need to find calories to replace those you don't get at dinner, and you'll need to eat different foods in order to get enough protein (peanut butter and beans can help with this, but you need to eat balanced). Also, you need to make sure you get enough iron to prevent anemia. Becoming vegetarian isn't as easy as some might think, which is why it would be good to get the support of your parents. You can certainly do it by yourself, but the burden on you will be greater.
shut up...and eat ur meat!
you could ask your parents to cook less meat and you can still get protein from eggs nuts milk beans tofu and much more stuff! My best friend is a vegetarian and she convinced her parents to let her be one by proving she could still get protein!
you can save 100 animals if you don't eat meat
i would let it rot, if its up to me, i will starve to death, before i kill an animal to eat
