Why can't you be indifferent about marmite?!

Question:

Why can't you be indifferent about marmite?

I love it. Really thick too so it stings the roof of the mouth. What about you?

Answers:
as a kid it made me physically sick, now i love it!!

Like the advert says, you either love it or hate , no in between.
Personally, Iove it, yum!!!

I used to be indecisive about it but I'm just not to sure now...

I'm indifferent. Sometimes i have some on toast but i can live without it. I was afraid to admit it in case the Marmite police came round n forced me to say i loved it! Hope they don't see this :-)

Prefer Vegemite don't Know why, Is it not a salty, on hot buttered toast.

I am indifferent::!!! i will eat it no problem , but i don"t crave it ::!!

I hate it, always have.

Never tasted it. Couldn't care less.

My daughter had her marmite nicked out of her fridge and still hasn't found the culprit.
We love marmite but not spread thickly.
My bloke threw the "empty" jar away, there's always some left in the bottom of the jar, I don't have any now.
You made me want marmite on toast , what can I do there is no replacement for it. My local shop doesn't sell it because no one has ever asked for it before.
MARMITE I say MARMITE.
Is bovril similar.?
Well I would never have guessed I could go on about marmite for so long. Good practise for my key-board skills though so thank-you.
You helped with my education in a round about Marmite way.

It's great with cheese on toast, vegamite is ok too. but I crave neither, just have it when my taste buds need a wake up call.

Love it. and i know the jar says spread thinly but I'm like you, thicker the better. and i lick the knife clean. yummy. because it has such a strong taste even if it is spread thinly that may be why there is no in between.

Because it has such a strong and distinctive taste. If it is to your taste (mine!) then you love it but if not it is hard to say you can take it or leave it. I appreciate that other posters have in fact said that which I have said you can't but that's people for you...

Yes its absolutely fantastic.
I love it and try try try try to get my wife to feed it to our son.
Oh its hard work because she won't eat it, or onions. And she is constantly ill with colds and flus so should eat better food.
Viva la marmit-a

I have no idea is it Vegetarian friendly??
