Whats the difference between vegan and vegetarian?!
Whats the difference between vegan and vegetarian?
I am maybe thinking about limiting my meat intake but I am not sure. If you are one or the other, are you glad you did it?
Answers:
Vegetarian- someone who does not eat meat
Vegan- Someone who does not eat animal products, meat.
They hate animal exploitation (me)
I like being vegan because I'm saving a life each time I choose Chic'en nuggets over chicken nuggets. Meat is disgusting, and should not even be eaten.
PS. If you are limiting your meat intake, YOU ARE NOT EITHER
I think its vegans dont eat ANYTHING that comes from living things. (Example, vegetarians wouldn't have a problem drinking milk, vegans would)
A vegetarian is someone who does not eat meat or anything involving meat. A vegan is a very strict vegetarian who does not only not eat meat, but can't stand cruelty to animals and a strong animal protestor.
vegans are strict vegetarians that dont eat any meat or any animal products of any kind. ( no dairy products or any foods that include dairy in them. no pizza cuz of the cheese, no ice cream , milk, cheese, eggs, no breads or desserts that include dairy etc Vegetarians just eat no meat but can choose to eat dairy or eggs if they want.
Vegan - A person who doesn't consume honey, dairy, eggs, or meat. They also do not wear leather, fur, suede, wool, silk, and other animal products. Some don't even eat sugar that has been processed through bone char.
Semi-Vegetarian - A person who eats chicken, fish, dairy, eggs, and honey.
Pesco- Vegetarian - A person who consumes fish, dairy, honey, and eggs.
Lacto-Ovo Vegetarian - A person who doesn't consume any meat, but can eat milk and/or eggs. A lacto-vegetarian eats milk, but does not eat eggs. A person who is an ovo-vegtarian eats eggs, but not dairy.
All vegetarians (but not vegans), can wear animal skin and products. In my opinion, though, that's not really vegetarianism, though.
Vegetarians just don't like to eat meat for whatever reason.
Vegans are really out there. With them it is not a matter of healthy or unhealthy food, it is this totally moral thing, like people who eat meat should all die before the age of 35 for being cruel to animals. I'm not sure that all the cattle herds in Texas send them thank you notes.
