Actually, I would say that the Barnum brand are not vegan vegetarian friendly, as they do contain animal product.
However, the nabisco brand are animal and animal product free.
It really depends on how strict of a vegetarian you are and the ingredients in the cracker. There may be no meat in animal crackers, but that may not mean that it contains no animal products. I do not have a box in front of me to look at so I cannot know what is in the particular animal cracker you want to eat. So the next time you have a box, look at the ingredients list. Make sure there is no lard or gelatin for example.
