I was told that farmed salmon has alot of heavy metals in it.?!

Question:

I was told that farmed salmon has alot of heavy metals in it.?

should vegetarians limit their intake of it because of this? i was told that you should eat it only once every 2 months. how do you know if the fish you eat is farmed or not?

Answers:
No. Vegetarians should limit their intake because they are animals. And by limit, I mean stop eating them. Sheesh. Another faux-vegetarian.

i'm not totally informed on this subject but i do feed vegetarians and they are not, at all, keen on farm salmon. they are more apt to be informed than me.

Vegetarians do not eat salmon. Someone who eats fish, but no other meat, is called a piscetarian, not a vegetarian.

If the farm has contaminated water then of course it could have heavy metals. Vegetarians don't eat salmon, so the question doesn't apply.
