What can ferrets eat, besides ferret food, birds, and mammmels?
I'ma vegan. and cannot buy ferret food due to ethical reasons and health for my ferret... I don't want to feed her food w/ pesticides and fillers in it, & that came from crulty treated and slaughtered animals.
can they eat seafood, nuts, beans, honey, etc.

Oh come on, now you want to force your pet to be a vegan.
Grow up you extremist activist nut.
You are really taking this to far.
Ferrets are very delicate and need high-protein, high-fat food.
I know I will get bashed for this one, but if you are going to be responsible for an animal, you need to care for his or her needs, not your own. Cats and dogs are more durable and can do well on vegan diets; ferrets can not.
The reason I am a vegetarian is because I respect animals; thus, if I choose to care for animals I show them the respect to feed them the diet they were meant to eat. I know this is not the answer you want to hear, but I would not force my ferrets to go against their nature and needs. Quite frankly, it could be quite dangerous to feed vegan food to a ferret... It would be dangerous to feed it something like 9Lives as well.
You can always try looking for brands of ferret food that are made more compassionately.
If you are really serious, you could find the ferrets Amish-raised chickens and/or eggs, or something.
It is not really my business, but if you got the ferrets from a pet store instead of a rescue shelter, there is already far too much blood on your hands.
