Garlic? what shall i do?
I eat a tremendous amount of garlic with my food the only trouble is my breathe humms for days they say parsley neutralizes the smell but doesnt seem to work for me any other proven suggestions. it doesn't help either chatting up women!!!
Answers:
When you brush your teeth be sure to brush your tongue well (it is your tongue that makes your breath smell more than anything else)
Also, make sure you have lots of mints or gum, just make sure it is sugar-free so you don't rot out your teeth (most gum is sugar-free nowadays anyway).
why do you eat so much of the stuff couldnt you flavour your food with other not so strong smelling herbs
things in moderation are good for you too much is just too much
That is because the breath isn't the only reason of the odor. The breakdown of food particles in and around your teeth can cause a foul odor. Eating foods containing volatile oils is another source of bad breath. Onions and garlic are the best known examples, but other vegetables and spices also can cause bad breath. After these foods are digested and the pungent oils are absorbed into your bloodstream, they're carried to your lungs and are given off in your breath until the food is eliminated from your body.
The characteristic smell on your breath is mainly the odor of other components. Humms is probably a mild way of saying it. Some Korean food has a lot of garlic and it flat burns your eyes when someone talks to you that has eaten it. Even breath mints and chewing gum, or mouth wash cannot help it. It goes away after it leaves the digestion tract. Give it up or find a girl who likes someone that has stinky garlic breath.
Have you tried Chlorophyll tablets? It is the substance responsible for the green color in plants, has been used traditionally to ameliorate bad breath.
How much is usually taken? Chlorophyll in the amount of 100 mg two or three times per day can be used to treat bad breath.
Try going to a vitamin store to buy the tablets, GNC maybe?
Love garlic too, especially raw garlic which I can take without finding it too strong, been doing so in this unsociable way for 3 years now and thoroughly believe one is in charge of one's own health and getting one's cholesterol down, think of blocked arteries etc.
1) floss teeth
2) brush teeth and tongue (agree too)
3) rinse mouth thoroughly with warm salt water (once a day will suffice) gargling the throat area helps, just don't swallow the stuff.
4) Just drink water rather than tea or coffee, it keeps the gums healthy and flushes out any debris etc that may congregate from time to time
Lemon, slice of lemon, is the answer.

garlic's great for your heart! but maybe cut down a little first.
as for the smell...brocolli tends to neutralise smells, as does mustard- only problem is you end up smelling like brocolli or mustard. but seriously that does work. also, if when you eat your garlic you also eat something neutral like bread it should work out.
try chewing gum fo shizzle, as well as drinking coffee and tea- they're great for getting rid of breath smells
good luck my friend!
Perhaps the best solution to your garlic breath problem is to ensure that you surround yourself with friends who are also garlicophiles!
Garlic is the best. I started eating it more regularly when I'd had a lung infection that wouldn't respond to antibiotics. My doctor told me that another round of antibiotics wouldn't help as your lungs build up immunities. So . . . it was suggested that I try the "natural" way and eat garlic. It did the trick.
Here is a website that will tell you how to cure your garlic breath.
eat ( parsley) a big bunch and chew it well
good luck
continue with the parsley. Also try drinking lemon juice afterwards. If that doesn't work then rinse your mouth with Vanilla.. yes Vanilla.. Did U know that Nilodor's secret ingredient is Vanilla?
Now it's not a secret! I no longer buy Nilodor
i use drops of Vanillat to get rid of bad odors and even under my arms too! I am a heavy eater of garlic too and Vanilla gets rid of the garlic smell for me!
It's not garlic effect.
you could try a chloraphyl supplement from the health food store-it helps neutralize odors. Good luck!
Well, the great thing is that other garlic eaters won't smell you, and why would you want to chat up women who don't eat garlic? Garlic is essential like air and water.....mmmmmmmmm.
Do you also carry a stake in your back pocket?
mint leaves are meant to work eat quiet a lot though .
There is only one cure, it is a compound found in green tea. You will find that the Japanese have a large range of sweets
with these green tea flavinoids in them. The molecule latches onto the flavour & you swallow it. mint, parsley etc. do not remove the odour they only disduise it. So if you drink lots of green tea, then eat a strong mint like Fisherman freind you should win.
Date a girl who loves garlic as much as you do.
lemon
please try brushing your teeth 3 times a day dialy and dont forget to clean your tongue because thats where most of the bad breath starts from. And also use mouth wash.
I also eat a lot of garlic both for it's taste and it's health benefits and I just tend to OD on mints.
chew chewing gum all day and you will be minty all the time!
Believe me, garlic doesn't just make your breath smell, it makes your whole body smell. It seeps out through pores in your skin.
My best suggestion is only chat up women who also eat garlic - they won't notice.
You could try chewing fennel seeds, but there's no guarantee.
I use garlic a lot - people just have to get used to it, but my son, when working as a waiter, had a penchant for a late night snack of scrambled eggs, yogurt and RAW garlic. That's a real knock out.
