Do vegetarians love the sweet smell of bacon cooking?!

Question:

Do vegetarians love the sweet smell of bacon cooking?

Also why do vegetarians eat imitation meat ?

Answers:
Pigs are filthy but they sure do taste good.

Well they wont tell you honestly because they think its a helpless animal that is being fried to death in your frying pan!

all vegetarians are different
and we eat imitation meat cus its tasty

i think their just suffering

This is obviously a loaded question, so I will return with the same amount of respect. Why don't flesh eaters butcher the living animals and tear the flesh from their bones themselves? In your line of thinking eating human flesh is not far away. My point is that hamburgers, hot dogs, and steaks are fun to eat, but even more so when it was made from vegetables since it is healthier and means living conscious beings were not meaninglessly killed to make it.

The smell of bacon makes me sick.

Why do some of us eat imitation meat? Because it's NOT meat

not at all. Whats appealing about dead pig stomach frying-smells greasy and gross. I have never eaten a fake meat-whats the point...the real stuff is repulsive, why would I want a fake dead animal. I am more than happy with fresh fruits veggie, and whole grains. Enjoy your bacon-cardiologists love people who do-keeps them in business

The smell of bacon is gross, hated bacon as an omnivore, even moreso now.Veggies eat fake meat because it isn't meat and because it is simple, all you ahve to do is heat it up.

Considering for our entire lives we are brought up in a world with meat smells all around us, and most of us have eaten meat for at least some of our lives, it would only make sense that our brains would connect the smell of bacon frying with something appetizing.

As for fake meats....why does a round patty shape hold the patent on animal product? Forming something into a patty....or into a round flat "luncheon meat" size disk....or into a nugget shape or a cylindrical "hot dog" shape....does not mean I am craving animal flesh. When they come out with fake meat that's on a fake bone with fake blood dripping off it, then I would see you concern.

eww no...ive never liked bacon, but it is just too juicy...yuck!
I dont mind cooking meat, cos i know i will have to deal with it in the future, but i dont like to.
SOME vegys eat quorn meat, because when you go round someone elses (meat eaters) house, and they are cooking a roast (for example) for 8 of you, they dont want to be cooking a special vegy meal too, so they can use that.
It also helps people who love the taste of meat, but want to give it up...i never was a great meat eater, but i do love lasagne, so we ahve some readymade quorn lasagnes. but when i MAKe them i use vegetables. It sobvious really
But not all vegys have quorn!

not really

not all vegetarians eat imation meat, for example, i do not
so if a small portions of vegetarians eat imation meat
why do you care? what's it to you, for knowledge?
ok because it's got protein, without killing the real animal
make sense no?

I dont like the smell of bacon. Not because i think its an animal dying(because it is) but i just dont like eating it, it just tastes bad so the scent is no diffetent. PS i never tried imitation meat.

i LOVE the smell of bacon... im not gonna lie. but i think about the cute piggy that might have suffered and then was killed, and i am not that tempted to eat it.... but it still smells good...

just because im a vegitarian doesnt mean i lose all my taste buds. meat tastes good, so i eat the fake stuff that tastes like it. then i can eat good food, and not have to have any part in the horrible process that goes into killing helpless animals.

The smell of bacon cooking reminds me of my childhood. So, ya, I still like the smell. I just don't eat it because I don't want all of that saturated fat in my arteries.

I hate the smell of bacon.
Vegetarians eat imitation meat because, maybe they liked real meat, but wanted to give it up for a healthier, more compassionate life. Vegetarians shouldn't be looked down on for liking the taste of meat, instead they should be applauded for giving up something they liked for unselfish reasons. After all most vegetarians grew up on meat and gave it up, like kicking a bad habit, it's gotta be hard. As for me, I'm lucky I never really like the taste of meat, so it was easy for me to make the transition.

i think its absolutely GROSS!!! and any meat cooking its just like...

i eat fake meat to get my protein and its very good!

no I don't

I don't eat it as a subsitude for meat because I do not even like how meat tastes, I use them more as a base for my meals, if they tasted anything like meat I would not eat them.
