There are lots of vegetarian restaurants in columbus, Ohio.
1.There used to be King Ave Coffee House on campus at OSU area...I think the name changed to Dragon Fly Neo V? It was mentioned in Vegetarian Times as a best restaurant for vegetarians...

Visit the happycow.net to find them.

Vegan and vegetarian restaurants are not that common. NYC has several because there is more of a demand for it. When I go out to eat, I usually ask for grilled veggies over rice. Most restaurants will accomodate a vegetarian but you need to ask.

Ohio is not really the best state for veggies, but it can be good if you are willing to look.

I know several great ones in northern Ohio, but those probably wont help you.
Happycow.net is certainly helpful; it will let you know veg-friendly places if nothing else.

I live in an area of Ohio that does not have any vegan/vegetarian restaurants to speak of, but through experimentation, I have several wonderful places to eat.

Go to your local ethnic restaurants, Indian, Thai, Chinese, Italian, Mexican. Stop in during the mornings and ask them some questions, or just pick up their menus and check them out. Thanks to trial and error, I now know where to get some awesome General Tso's tofu. It is so good.

Especially check out websites of restaurants around any cities. They are bound to have more diversity. The larger cities near me do. If you are like me and don't like talking to people, many websites have a "contact us" link where you can ask your questions.
