Factory farms and the Matrix?!

Question:

Factory farms and the Matrix?

This is a crazy thought. I was watching this show called "How it's Made" where they hatch baby chicks from the eggs via machines and then they go down this shoot and are seperated according to sex. Then I was watching the Matrix(first one) and I was thinking...that is so similiar! Does anyone else make that comparison? Maybe I'm just wierd(sp?)..yeah

the shoot it goes down, actually goes to a giant blender and it kills the male chicks, to grind them up and use as CHICKEN FEED, they mix the CHICKEN FEED with grain and soy protein and feed it to chicken.

no i don't make the compareson, but there is a flash animation thing called the
meatrix, it's pretty good goggle it up

people fall asleep and forget their selfs and their targets. they become bad people without knowledge. But few of them are awake and are trying to wake up the others, thats the matrix all about. Make that comparison.

I'm glad someone else brought up the Meatrix. I think it's a pretty good comparison. I'm not a vegetarian anymore, but I think what happens with "factory" meat is abhorable.

Pretty terrible stuff---
You're not weird-- just thoughtful. It amazes me that people who are horrified by cruelty to people think nothing of cruelty to animals.

I'd say go to this website and you decide.
www.factoryfarming.com and check out the photo gallery of the beef section and poultry section.

YES!!!!!!

I noticed that immediatly(along with slasher movie referances), that is one reason why it is so suprising more people don't notice it. That torture the animals go through is more violent then anything even in today's films. It's absolutly terrifying.
