What grains take more calories to digest than what they have in them?!


Question:

What grains take more calories to digest than what they have in them?

Just wondering, I am a relativley new vegitarian.

it may not even be a grain, I was just on a site a while back and remebered it saying something about a food that takes more calories to digest than what it contains in it.

Also to the one or two "christian" people that are sure to comment about vegetarianism being wrong, or me having no right to be a vegetarian because without "God" I have no right to have morals, I don't care. Your opinions are yours, just as mine are mine. Lets all play nice. :) Good day to you all, and thanks for answering my question.

I think celery is the only food that has a negative calorie intake. I may be wrong, but I am pretty sure.

Iam on a low carb diet and I can not find such a grain. Celery will work

From what I have read, the whole negative calorie thing is a load of bunk. You burn calories with everything you do and the more active you are, the more you burn.
