I want to serve at least two vegetarian dinners a week to my family.?
Can anyone tell me a good resource for recipes and meal planning for adults and children. Preferably one on the web.
Thanks.

I like Recipezaar because you can search for something like "pasta" or "soup" and then narrow it down to vegetarian choices using the Sort by -> Category tool.
However, I truly believe that every vegetarian who wants to eat well should own the Rebar Modern Food Cookbook. "Modern" is just part of the restaurant name- all of the recipes are fresh, healthy and easy to make.

I don't know of any web sites but I wanted to say kudos to you. If you can get your family to eat more vegetables you deserve a gold star. :)
Try Dinner Select. There's a fee of $15 for 3 months but they will send you meal plans for each week along with a grocery list. You can pick from various meat or vegetarian plans. (You can pick just vegetarian or a mixture of meat/vegetarian meals). It's not a free service but it might be worth the $15 to give it a try for a few months. It does not renew automatically and you can save by paying the yearly price of $45.
A couple of ideas-veggie lasagna, spagetti with mushrooms and zuchini, curried cous cous with grilled veggie kababs, fondue (spagetti, cheese, or alfredo ) with garlic bread, steamed rosemary new potatoes, mozzeralla cheese bites, and brocolli and tater tots to dunk in the sauce, stir fried rice and veggies, pasta with olive oil and garlic, green peppers stuffed with rice and cooked in mushroom sauce, "burgers" made with grilled portabello mushroom instead of meat. Good for you for making this great choice for your family!
Just an important reminder... make sure you still get your protein! This is something you have to replenish everyday.
Woohoo!! Go you.

Way to Go!
Although it took me 20 years to completely convert to Vegetarianism, this is how I started out--2-3 meals a week.
Try simple things like Lentil Soup, a salad and fresh bread, or spaghetti made with a meat substitute, salad and fresh fruit. The smaller a deal you make out of it, the better your family will accept it. Now my kids can't tell the difference between veggie sloppy joes and the real thing.
Good luck
Whole wheat pasta with a chunky tomato sauce and a salad
Stir fry veggies over rice
Vegetarian Paella
Black Bean Tacos
just make bean burritos- tortillas, canned beans, hot sauce, cheese, roll it up and microwave it. ta-da!
make some kind of soup.
