Are Girl Scout Cookies Vegan?!

Question:

Are Girl Scout Cookies Vegan?

I am a girl scout and have been since first grade, but recently I became a vegetarian.
I looked in the ingredients, and they say natural flavorings.
Natural Flavoring by defenition can have meat products in them.
And Yes, I realize that they have Dairy.
I looked all over the websites, and I couldn't find anything that said what the natural flavorings were.

Answers:
They are definitely vegetarian. they're not vegan because of the dairy, but they are kosher and can therefore contain no meat products (the laws of kashrut forbid mixing of milk and meat)

no they are not vegan ..I wish...LOL..but yes they are vegetarian ..natural flavoring is a standard our government puts as to how the flavor (taste) is obtained and what is permitted..this website gives the actual definition as set by the government...http://www.supermarketguru.com/page.cfm/...

Um, you just said you realize they have dairy. Which automatically makes them not vegan.

vegan means no animal products. since you are aware that the cookies contain dairy ingredients, you have answered your own question.

Yes, they are vegetarian..but they aren't vegan. Vegan is where you don't consume any amimal products including milk and cookies have milk in them.

Yes, they are Vegetarian but they have Partly Hydrogenated Oils which is Trans Fat, stay away!
