STEVIA good or bad?

please support your opinion with scientefic details a link kwill suffice. God bless you!

Answers:
Stevia is not a legal sweetener substitution , don't get carried away about all the good things one hear about this new sweetener in the market (it's sold as a herbal alternative, not as Food) ...
The government is still biased by the other sweeteners it has FDA approved even dubiously.

Stevia by consumers general consensus is favorable , but it is not an FDA approved. Good or Bad is all hear/say no official scientific basis proofs.

Personally I use it ..I find that in small quantities it is fine for taste .....they say it is sweeter then sugar but I just find it different but yes do you less then you would sugar..I would almost say stronger then sweeter...... Stevia (also called sweetleaf, sweet leaf or sugarleaf) is a genus of about 150 species of herbs and shrubs in the sunflower family (Asteraceae), native to subtropical and tropical South America and Central America. As a sweetener, stevia's sweet taste has a slower onset and longer duration than that of sugar, although some of its extracts may have a bitter or liquorice-like aftertaste at high concentrations.

Isn't that the one in the news that they said is deadly poisionous for dogs if they eat it in sweet treats??????
