Don't be upset. You did not mean to eat them. They forgive you. Just start tomorrow as a newly empowered Vegetarian.

don't really stress it out everyone has those moments when they ate something accidentally just try not to do it again

you cant change what happened in the past - all you can do is move on and not do it again if it is something you do ot want to do

i have thought i have eaten a piece of bacon before (in a plain pizza)... don't worry about a little shrimp. :)

Don't feel bad - you said you think you just ate shrimp, which means you didn't intend to if you did. It's the intentions that count - if you accidentally mistook it for something else, or were tricked into eating it by a cruel person, then you did nothing that goes against your beliefs.

When I was in the 10th grade, I was at a birthday party for my 6-year-old cousin. A family friend brought crackers and spread, and handed me some, but wouldn't tell me what it was. I assumed it to be cream cheese with blended herbs... It turned out to be a mixture of crab and some other fish. It was pretty cruel, but only on her part - I didn't think any less of myself for falling for it.

I used to be a vegan. I'm sure you know what that is. I ate nothing from animals, no milk, no honey, no eggs, etc. How long have you been a vegetarian? Maybe this will make you feel better. JESUS ATE FISH. The Bible says that his disciples had gone fishing and were cooking some fish and Jesus ate a piece of a broiled fish. So if the perfect Son of God ate fish, I don't think God is upset with you because you accidentally ate shrimp. It's not a sin, you know. In the Bible people sacrificed animals and ate all kinds of meat.

If you didn't do it intentionally, then please don't worry. Sometimes meat is hidden in foods and we don't know it. It wasn't your fault, if no one told you it was in whatever you ate.

I am a vegetarian but only do eat seafood. So, I guess we are different types. But I do understand that it is upsetting because I dreamed that I ate a piece of livestock and I woke up Horrified and just hurting inside. But accidents do happen. Just keep doing your best. It sounds like you really are!!!

I'm sorry that you may or may not have eaten shrimp, think how the shrimp must feel thinking that you may or may not have eaten him.

But i digress,

Is there really such a thing as a sympathetic vegetarian? After all, they tear baby carrots out of their nuseries, skin them alive, and boil them. Does that sound sympathetic to you?
Don't even get me started on the baby corn.

Sorry, just trying to make you feel better...

I'm sorry, but don't worry; everyone makes mistakes.
I accidentally ate fish in something before. Beating yourself up won't help you. You had time to be sad; now you can forgive yourself and move on.
And I am sorry so many butt-heads showed up to be rude when you are already feeling sad. Some people just enjoy treating others poorly.

"There is no shame in admitting you were wrong; you are only saying you are wiser today than you were yesterday"

It's okay if i eat meat I throw it up later

DON'T STRESS! One shrimp, you won't die! I have had friends hide chicken in my salad before! Just relax! Work out, eat some lettuce, or leaflet to "balance your karma" lol! I don't believe in Karma I am actually a Christian, but that's what I would do. I have tried to vomit after eating meat but I already have image problems and if I started vomiting I might not stop.

throwing up can turn into an eating disorder so I wouldn't advise it...

Accidents happen. Don't let them get to you :(

is all right man, things like that happen, stay on course, this one is a free pass

i think we're allow pass on stuff we do everynow and then.

pass= forgiveness

You can't change the past. And everybody messes up once in a while. Just forget it and move along.

I see that you're "tim burton girl". Why don't you watch one of his films to get the shrimp off your mind?

A couple years ago I somehow thought that the tuna salad sandwich I started chomping into was egg. I was busy talking away at the banquet I was attending, all while eating, and it took a couple swallows before I clued in that egg isn't flakey and fishy. First I got pissed off on the inside that the caterers would put egg and tuna on the same plate, and when I got home I called my boyfriend, and cried/bitched about it to him. He thought I was psychotic.

I know you feel bad about it now, but in my case I was attending something where the food was already prepared, and I had nothing to do with it. Maybe you did eat a little shrimp, but it's not like you're putting loads of money into buying shrimp all the time, and essentially using your consumerism as a vote to support such an industry. Try your best, this too shall pass. Oh, and one time I ended up with a chunk of roast beef in my cinnamon bun, but that's another story! Like I said, this too shall pass.

Let yourself off the hook, my dear. If you didn't intentionally do it, its no biggie. Shrimp do not have a central nervous system, so quit beating yourself up over it. Just aim to pay closer attention to what you are eating. If you dont KNOW what ingedients are in something, simply avoid it

One time last year my dad had made spaghetti, I guess for himself but I always take his food :P Well I started digging right in and realized that there was chunks of beef in it! I felt so disgusted, I know how you feel hunny. I wish people would actually be up front with you with what's in your food! The pesci-crazies are ruining it for us :(

I don't call myself vegetarian because sometimes I just crave meat. A shrimp is nothing, Last week I had grilled lamb chops.
