Question:

Where can I get vegan easter eggs (preferably childrens ones) in the UK?

Answers:
Sainsbury's do a nut free, dairy free vegan easter eggs made by Kinnerton they sell a 'Bang on the door' egg and A 'Simpsons' egg. They are £2.49 each.

Source(s):
BTW they are situated in their ' well being' aisle not near the regular chocolates.

Holland & Barrett

Our local health shop has some, so try one near you, if they have not got them in at the moment i am sure they will get you some.

Go to your local health foos shop, eg holland and barrets.
They are also bringing them out in more supermarkets, so have alook just in case! Liddles is always good.
You could always make them, or have something different to an easter egg???

My nearest Sainsbury's sells both their own-brand dark chocolate easter egg (with dark chocolate discs) (about £5.99) AND Kinnerton brand NUT-FREE dark chocolate easter egg with "jelly sweets" (£1.99, though only 90g in total), both suitable for vegans.

Also most health shops sell whizzers, mini chocolate eggs in a crunchy shell, usually about 70p a pack, you could add some of these to a plainer egg to make it more appealing to children. These are very nice and are usually stocked (and bought) all year round.

the Dr Hadwen Trust has a huge range of vegan food/chocolates and are gorgeous. (www.crueltyfreeshop.com) Sainsbury and Tesco also sell vegan/"free from" foods

The only place i know of where you can get vegie eggs from is a vegitarian chicken, you could eat the chicken first & then it eats it's unborn babies, fried, poached or boiled, the choice is yours lettuce lover

Check out the 'Dark Cheeky Bunnies' or the 'Dark Chunky Egg' or.. the MONSTER BUNNY :-D

Somethings wrong here. Vegans don't eat eggs - then surely they can't give their kids Easter eggs.
It's like vegetarians eating vegetarian bacon 'flavoured' crisps.
Either you are or you aren't. Never yet heard a Muslim or a Jew demand non-pork pork scratchings, or a Hindu asking for a cow-free t-bone steak!
