Vegan with hypoglycemia?!
Vegan with hypoglycemia?
Being hypoglycemic, is veganism perhaps an unhealthy idea?
Answers:
Nope! It's not a problem at all (assuming you're avoiding junk food).
Protein isn't a problem on any reasonable veggie diet. Since most veggies avoid items high in simple sugars and consume more complex carbohydrates than 'regular' people hypoglycemia becomes less of an issue for us. The link below might help you out.

Vegetarians do not eat fish. A fish eater is a Piscivore. Spread the correct word!

It does not sound unhealthy as long as you get the required amount of protein. It is actually healthy. Soy, tofu, nuts, whole grains, veggies and fruits are great. You must remember to eat meals more often than the average person. Every 3-4 hours. A sensibly balanced meal. Why not talk with a dietitian? They can point the way for you. :)
I was vegan for 10 years and I am hypoglycaemic. I found it made no difference at all as long as eat plenty of complex carbohydrates and avoid sugar and caffeine I feel fine. You may find some useful recipes here:
